Staying connected virtually during Covid-19

Navigating this new normal can be stressful, which makes finding ways to engage our community virtually so important. Here are some of the ways we provide our residents the companionship and support that they need during these difficult times.

Triple P Discussion Group

Given the switch to distance learning, parents are taking on more and more responsibilities each day. Our Triple P Discussion Group offers suggestions and ideas on positive parenting led by an accredited Triple P provider. Each participant will receive a $15 gift card and be entered into a raffle drawing.

If you are a resident who is interested in participating in this program, call Liz at 541-515-2525.

Virtual Coffee Connections

Our Virtual Coffee Connections offer a relaxing space where parents and caregivers can take a break and relate to others going through the same thing. These Connections are a great opportunity to chat about your parenting struggles, questions you might have and ways to get help.

If you are a resident who is interested in participating in this program, call Sophia at 541-666-8545.

Active Teens BINGO

Our Active Teens BINGO gives teens the chance to hang out and have fun with other teens from their community. They will also have the chance to win lots of prizes!

Cooking Class

We have several fun virtual cooking classes lined up for the month of June. From “snack hacks” to grocery shopping tips, community health educators will share how to save money and improve health. Participating families will also receive a bag of groceries so they can duplicate recipes from the class!
