The Lucy will bring 36 new affordable homes to families and individuals earning at or below 60% of the Area Median Income. Slated for completion in December 2026, leasing will begin in January 2027—opening the door to safe, stable, and welcoming homes for our community.
At 19, Shara faced homelessness, domestic violence, and addiction. With support from Cornerstone—at the community next door to The Lucy—she found safety, earned her GED, welcomed her daughter baby girl Lucy, and embraced sobriety. Her journey is a powerful reminder that with the right support, transformation is possible.
The Lucy stands as a symbol of that impact. It demonstrates how safe, stable housing and supportive community services can change lives—not just for individuals, but for generations to come.
