Housing In The Making

Cornerstone Community Housing is thrilled to break ground on Alma Apartments, a new affordable housing community designed to support seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Alma Apartments will provide safe, affordable housing to individuals and families earning at or below 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) with 39 thoughtfully designed units:

• 3 studios
• 30 one-bedroom apartments
• 6 two-bedroom apartments

Apartments is made possible through the collaboration and support of local government, community organizations, and dedicated partners. Funding sources include:

• $2,054,013 in HOME funds
• $578,000 from City of Springfield
• $7,935,000 from Oregon Housing and Community Services
• $2.35M Permanent Loan

By addressing the critical need for affordable housing in Springfield, Alma Apartments aims to enhance the quality of life for its residents and contribute positively to the community.
