Sarah Fischer has a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University in Quebec, Canada. She is fully fluent in Spanish and brings a variety of skills and talents to our team. Sarah applied for the Food Justice Internship but before even starting, a new position opened up at Cornerstone that Sarah was a perfect match for. Her previous roles and experience include working as a Program Designer, Crew Leader at Northwest Youth Corps, and Gardening Manager and Educator. She also has a background of volunteer experience including cooking and delivering meals to low-income seniors and families. Sarah brings her passion around gardening and her experience working with communities to the team and is already designing programs and expanding our community garden partnerships.
